Medical statistic deals with the applications of statistics to medicine and the health sciences such as public health and clinical research. It is a science and an art of summarizing, collecting, classifying, analyzing and interpreting data in the field of medicine. The contents of the course include two parts: theory and experiment. In the part of theory (chapter 1~11), students will learn about the common methods of statistic description and statistic inference. While in the part of experiment (chapter 12), students will study the SPSS statistic software to deal with the data in medical practice.
