Biochemistry is a science that studies the chemical composition, structure, function and change law of biological molecules in living organisms. It mainly uses chemical principles and methods to reveal the nature of life phenomena at the molecular level. Medical biochemistry is one of the most important basic courses for medical majors. Through this course, students can master the basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills of biochemistry, and have a more comprehensive understanding of the structure and function of major biological macromolecules in the human body, material metabolism and its regulation, transmission and expression of genetic information, and biochemical and metabolic characteristics of special tissues such as blood and liver.
