Welcome to the online course of Introduction to U.S. Law of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. With the development of international trade, China and the United States have more and more business exchanges, and therefore，trade disputes have gradually increased. Nowadays, legal practitioners need to be familiar with U.S. laws to help clients resolve transnational trade disputes. This course focuses on U.S. business laws. By introducing the principles, legal rules and precedents of the U.S. business laws, the course may be helpful in developing the ability to analyze and resolve legal issues by applying American laws, and also improving the ability to foresee and reduce commercial disputes. This course is composed of 9 parts:American Legal System. Constitutional Law and Commerce Clause. Contract Law, Tort Law, Partnership, Corporation Law, Intellectual Property Law, Extraterritoriality and Sanctions, Civil Litigation Procedure.
