本课程是海洋资源与环境专业与水产养殖学专业的必修课及核心课程，是海洋渔业科学与技术专业的选修课。课程将系统、完整地介绍我国海、淡水水生生物各个类群的形态特征和分类地位，对于在各地常见、经济上比较重要的渔业生物种类，除描述其分类特征外，对其个体生物学、生态习性、地理分布及经济意义也作了介绍，重点讲授渔业生物和经济水生动、植物的形态分类和生态学知识。通过理论教学，要求学生了解和掌握各类常见水生生物的主要形态特征和分类依据；掌握常见渔业生物种类的形态特征、了解其生态习性、地理分布、经济意义以及在环保和与人类关系等方面的作用；掌握各类水生生物学系统分类学知识以及经济价值较高的水生生物种类的个体生物学知识，了解常见的种类和生态类群。
This course will introduce the morphological characteristics and taxonomic status of various marine and freshwater aquatic organisms in China. For the common and economically important fishery species, their individual biology, ecological habits, geographical distribution and economic significance are also introduced, with emphasis on their morphological classification and ecological knowledge. Through theoretical teaching, students are required to understand and master the main morphological characteristics and classification basis of various common aquatic organisms, to learn their morphological characteristics, ecological habits, geographical distribution, economic significance and the role in environmental protection and the relationships with human beings, to understand the knowledge of various aquatic biological systematics and aquatic organisms with high economic value, including common species and ecological groups.
